Hello All

Well Christmas is over and the New Year is upon us! Since starting this blog I have discovered the craft of paper art and have become rather obsessed with it. As a result, my Christmas tree this year was made of paper rosettes which I attached to the wall. I then decided that for NYE 2016 I would upcycle some of these decos for a quick NYE makeover

As you can see, my Christmas colour palette was bright. For New Year I decided on a palette of Black, White, Gold and Silver. My other half is always very helpful and willing, so together,we took down the pinks, reds and blues. I had loads of decorations left over this year and bought a few extra bits from the local cheap shops.

I’m short so I’m very blessed to have a tall husband and one who is willing to model my hats and get his hands dirty when I need confetti on balloons and gold glitter glued to my Bottles of bubbly.

My  Brother ScannCut machine has been an amazing investment and so much fun. I’ve only just started to learn how to use it and had lots of fun today creating numbers and words for the NYE celebration.
